It's a posibility is it not. That seems to be one of the possibilites being discussed on the various forums, just showing it's been done before. Is that okay?

The Scottish article relates to an incident that occurred in Aberdeen in 2006, not the one that occurred in Surrey today,

A Surrey Police spokesman said the man who died was a visitor or customer, not the store owner
Interestingly gun shops in the Orlando area on Florida have now banned single males from hiring weapons after a spate of suicides on ranges. Apparently they don't want to make a mess a home so take it to the range instead. For those who haven't been, quite a few gun shops in that area have a range out the back that you can hire and fire at.
The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.

it's the same in Massachussets, they wouldn't hire me any pistols to shoot on the range as I was on my own and not carrying my own weapon... :(

Sucked, I can see why, but they wouldn't even have someone stand next to me on the range making sure I didn't do anything stupid, I just wanted to shoot!... :(

One of our club mates works there at the weekends - This is very sad indeed.
