Yes it has, no it wasn't and yes you are.
Reloading posts go in the reloading forum, usually people don't find this difficult.

Steve E wrote:If you set up a full length die correctly you can use it to bump the shoulder or not. Screw the die down until it touches the shell plate and then back it off half a turn. Size a case and see if the shoulder is touched or not by the die, adjust the die either in or out to touch the shoulder or not. It really is very simple and is a basic skill that you should have. To check this you can either smoke the shoulder of the case or measure it with a caliber specific case micrometer. RCBS make what they call a precision case micrometer(caliber specific) which you can use to measure the case head to centre of shoulder position. If you use a full length die adjusted so that it bumps the shoulder only 1 or 2 thou you may find that the neck is only partially sized and actually this is how neck sizing was carried out before neck die became available.
You can also bump the shoulder with a body die.
Fair Steve. I have one of those gauges, they are every good.
But if you use a specialised tool for measuring, why not use one to do the job if its available?
Funily enough, I bought the Bush/Bump die as it was one of those things I thought I might need when starting out...muppet
Turns out it has been ideal in so much as I can do all that is needed.
The Forster unit comes without a sizing ball (I don't use them anyway other than on the first full length size out of the box), so as I decap on a decapping die (means everything can be cleaned before it goes near the dies that matter) I leave the whole spindle out. Makes cleaning dead easy.

I think the shed stocks Forster. I will have to check it out on the web before I commit. I think they are expensive to buy.
They can be, but they are every good dies (apart from their bullet puller which only works well if Ovenpaa gets hold of it, mine is now a prized item).
One thing to be aware off, regardless of what folk might tell you, you CAN use forster dies in normal and arbor presses and not just their coaxial press.
You just need a collar for a normal press (I use redding and RCBS dies in my forster press for other calibres and they are fine).

You will just need the die Dave, you already have taken measurements of the Forster Bushings from one of my neck size/bushing bump Forster dies so you should be able to make the bushings as that is what you measured it for.
I suggest that you visit the Forster web site to find out about these dies as pictures can save a thousand words, I have shown you these dies in the past.

Yes you have Adam I remember now and they were very pretty. You don't need a Forster press to use them do you.
