Nah I want additions, so I'm going to need to pay at some point anyway...
do we know what we need to put down for an action, say I went Lantac .22 and wanted a .223 upper and barrel assembly, would it just be 1x .22lr rifle and 1 x .223 rifle, or would it be something else...?

It would be something else, you need to ask your FEO for the wording. It is two slots.

My FEO recommended putting "rifle" instead of upper or barrel or anything else, that way you're covered for everything belonging to one single rifle and could the rest if you felt like it with no additional paperwork.

If you want to add anything new it will cost you for a variation £26, and that covers everything ammo, rifles and mod.
If its just a one for one swap or replacing a slot after selling something it should be free.

The other option depending on how many .22lr's you already have is ask for another .22lr slot.

Why both Christel? Notification by email within seven days is enough. It's a god idea to always request a receipt or confirmation though.

Everything we do is done via email and then in letter form. This has nothing to do with the business. Just the way we have always done it. I think it is something that has been carried over from the time before emails were allowed.
