No I throw the steel cases away, I have used a selection of brass from PPU, Lapua and some others manufacture which alludes me at the moment.

Had some good experiences with the recent ammo from ammo-zone, 1977 light ball which is relative consistent 1.5" at 100m. This is my plinking ammo for the Dragonov and Nagant sniper.

Yes, that '77 ball from ammo-zone performs well in our Noise Magnet too. The first three rounds from cold barrel will often cloverleaf at 100 mards, but then the group opens up considerably as the barrel warms. Let it cool again, and the group shrinks.
