They must be heads as they sit on/in the neck and the next bit down is the the shoulder. They are not pills

He has a point....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

The head of the cartridge fits against the breach face. So the head is at the base of the cartridge and not at the other end which is occupied by the bullet in the case of a loaded cartridge or a hole in the case of a fired cartridge.
I suppose the dip stick that we are talking about shoots his pills out of his gat. :lol:

One of the guys at my club was calling them heads the other day, somehow I knew it was safe to assume he wasn't a member of this forum :-)
