What do you mean by removing metal from it.
Mill some metal off of the top to reduce the boolit length and thus reduce its' weight.

Ah right I see simple enough to do but the boolit might be a bit odd shaped at the base.

Sorry, no photo yet - lots of boolits on the go.
I saw a 30 AAC Blackout round today (one of Phaedra's) - there's absolutely no difference between that and the 7x33 apart for .020" on bullet diameter and a couple of thou on the case head. There's nothing new.
