For cheap/semi-auto I use American Eagle/Federal. Much cheaper than Mini mag and cycle well in my 10/22 and Buckmark.
For the Anschutz I use Eley Team.

Hmm, we may be tempted to go for 500 SK and 500 MiniMags...
Any suggestions for WMR ?

Some years ago, I popped into Fultons and bought a box of every make of .22 ammo that they had in stock--about 10. This did not include any Eley ammo as my club stocks that and I had plenty of it. My rifles are a Greener Miniature Club and BSA 1923 pump action.
I patiently bench rest tested it all at 50m. There were some shocks. RWS match ammo would not group in either of my rifles. None of the higher velocity stuff was any good. Some really cheap Aguilla (spelling??) was good. Eley came top with Lapua close behind. Although Eley black box was slightly better than Rifle Club, I elected to stay with Rifle Club as all my shooting is off-hand normally.

My french club only stocks Blazer. We have been shooting it with satisfaction for years. I use it mainly in my DES69 but overall with all the other club members that is a very wide rage for guns that feed on it without any issues
22 LR Izhmash Biathlon toggle action. Do you practice biathlon ?
My first target pistol was a Unique Des 69 ;¬(((((
Won many comps with it until I was enticed by a GSP combo 22-32
All gone - boo hoo.

In terms of accuracy, I can't find anything that beats these little fellas in my Anschutz Match 54 @ 25 yrds and @ 50 yrds. Elly Match was very close at those distances, but only proved slightly better @ 100 yrds.

I've settled on Eley Match for all but my bunny bashing rifles which I'm still using up my stock of Winchester Rabbit ammo on.
I shoot mainly old military and Martini action 22s with the odd nostalgic foray with my L/H Martini International and Anschutz 54 from my small bore target shooting days.
Cheaper ammunition like Eley Rifle and Lapua Standard used to group well in my older rifles but the odd squib load at the wrong times made me go for something more expensive to get the consistency. I used to use a lot of Lapua Midas L but like Eley and the rest they "improved" their range so it went the way of the Dodo.
I buy in 10K plus batches usually so that keeps the cost down, when re stocking I would certainly consider the RWS line, our bench rest boys do very well with it.
When I was being taught prone small bore shooting many decades ago now I was told "buy the most expensive rifle you can afford and the most expensive ammunition there is" even in this sham post modern world there is still some truth in that saw.

We've purchased a thousand SK+ and given them a try tonight. First impressions are that they are very slick: they seem to be coated in some super-slippy slippy stuff which makes loading a 25 round magazine quite entertaining for onlookers. Once the paws get coated in slippy stuff the rounds start to fly everywhere but onto the magazines...
In our CZ452 they were very accurate, though we did note a little vertical stringing rather than a nice round group. Still, the string was quite small...
Our Remington 597 doesn't seem to like them at all. We had quite a lot fail to fire. When they did fire, they cycled the action reliably enough but they often simply didn't go bang. We'll try them out in our other rimfires over the coming weeks and report back.

Quick update on this thread, I spend Friday night down at the range comparing Eley Match with CCI standard. Both my shooting partner and I didn't see any difference despite the Eleys being a fair bit more. This was in our BSA Martini International, the conclusion is that either we're not good enough to benefit from good ammo yet or there's not much difference in them. I'm leaning towards the former!
