I always decap before cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner. I use a couple of tablespoons of citric acid crystal to 2 litres of water. This cleans everything, inside, outside and more particularly the primer pockets. I have always shied away from using mechanical means to clean the primer pockets as these will inevitably remove some metal and if you have cases that can be reloaded a lot of times eventually the pockets will become oversized. I then dry in the oven at 100C. If I want really bright shiny cases I will then tumble in walnut shell media and run each case thru a universal decapper to remove any media lodged in the primer flash holes. In either case I then have clean cases to resize. Once sized I use an RCBS 3 way trimmer (calibre specific) - once set up properly these 3 way trimmers are fantastic and save a lot of time. All that remaims is to run a bronze cleaning brush into the neck on a cordless drill.
