No I definitely wont be doing that. Any body involved in deactivation or purchasing of deacts should be stood up against a wall and shot in my opinion.

Don't know how much the scope is worth but it might be worth £650 for the scope and stock. I guess the action will be no good for any thing. Plonkers why would you do that to a perfectly good rifle.

I have got it home. Any body know how much the ten round magazines are worth. Its a single stack ten round.
It looks like its a new stock. The barrel is a 24" stainless steel Shilen think that's how you spell it. Its chambered in 6.5x55
I like it its so sexy

the down side is its going to be at least two weeks before I can shoot it and probably at 25 yards. sign01

Alpha
The M55 is a long range bullet dispenser and I wouldn't waste good ammo (or barrel life) using it on a 25 yard range.
Strip it, clean it, drool over it and lick it if you really have to but whatever you decide to do ...... please (please), post the photos! I'm sure we are all really interested in how she looks and performs.
Good shooting when the time comes to let her rip.

No barrel wear with a 120gn .267" Loverin over 4gns of N310 and a 10 round calibre size hole in the target is no waste of ammunition. :goodjob:
It brings smiles. :shakeshout:

Alpha, do you have a spare magazine or are you getting ready to break it? I am not sure about the M55 magazines however the M65A magazines go for a lot of money, recently I have seen them advertised at GBP160-200 each!
