I have just found a printing error in Brian Litz's Applied Ballistics book w.r.t this bullet.
The figures for Twist Rate vs Stability show the wrong twist rate range. Instead of starting at 1:6" (a ludicrously fast twist for 6.5mm) they should start at 1:8".
So the "worst case" stability factor for this bullet in a 1:8" barrel is actually 1.51, which is excellent. Apologies for implying otherwise in my earlier post.
