If you have never been to Fort Nelson do go.
Free to get in and just had millions of lottery money spent on it.
Great place to take children.

Did a great job moving it but I can't believe they didn't do more preparation. You'd have though doing refurbishment would mean making sure that bit that should move weren't covered in paint and as for not knowing if the shell was live or not
Good to see one of my old SK friends involved in it, Keith Brigstock. Spent a great weekend with him and the SK artillery at Larkhill.

Dam....
I was keeping my new rig quiet for the Europeans.
A tad over HME, you want to see the ruddy scope!!!
Joking aside, as an exe plank (before I went squawk) the wife and I visited Fort Nelson....god, must have been about 10 years ago.
It was a good visit then as they had artists doing verbal interpretations, we stayed all day, so it must be even better now.
She really enjoyed it and she is not particularly pro big noisy things (then married me...eh????)
Were the 2 Nazi bashers known as Whinnie and Pooh, based up near Hastings?
