We've had our paws on it, oomans, and can vouch that it is every bit as good as it looks ! Several very smart design features in it if you look closely...

With 12.5 inch barrel, 358 Win would be fun or 7mm BR for something different :good:

.358 Win! Brilliant idea! The largest necked up .308 in the shortest possible barrel!

(I had a thing for snub nosed revolvers, back in the day...)

Very good idea however the rifle in the picture is fitted with the stub barrel used for proof testing the chassis and conventional actions, this particular rifle normally sports a 22" bull barrel.

358 Win sounds good and I have often thought about a 9,3x51 in suppressed form. tongueout

Curious, why?

I'm all for individualism, but then there's making something just too difficult! The point of diminishing returns...

At the heavy end, 9.3x51 or even 9.3x62 have anything more to offer in performance to the .358Win. At the bottom, sub sonic range, there would be nothing in it. On top of which, .366 bullets? They're not going to be easy to source!! And, unless you lose the taper on the case, the shoulder with .366 bullets is going to be nothing more than an "edge" which is really not conducive to decent head spacing.
