Re: National firearms Centre visit
Had the pleasure of a full day in there a couple years back and took photos a-plenty. My only disappointment was the wooden HK G11. Talk about gutted!

Re: National firearms Centre visit
I was hoping for one of the actual prototypes at least; not a wooden mockup.
Re: National firearms Centre visit
I managed to get an invite there a couple of years ago. Walking up and down the racks is too much to take in. You are constantly saying 'can I take a look at that' and before the words are out of your mouth you see something else to paw! Was still thinking of rifles that I would never, ever get to examine long after I had walked out. Favourite was the adapted SMLE machine gun, or the Mondragon, or the Pederson device, or (you get the idea).

Re: National firearms Centre visit
It is indeed treasure trove which I have been fortunate to visit on numerous occasions and will do so again in the future, not just when it was at Leeds but also when it was at Enfield Lock, because of the plethora of content it is always better to visit with a specific research purpose rather than a browse which I believe they are discouraging now. It is not just the hardware but the documentation archives are extremely interesting as well.
