I have no problem loading small primers but large rifle seem to need a lot of effort and the handle/lever kills my hand after a while.

I picked up a Ergoprime last night from Adam(Dromia) first impressions are good I primed some 7.62x54 Russian cases with out any problems.
The lid is a bit fiddly but I can live with that.

The lid is very fiddly and keeps lifting when in use resulting in primers turned up the wrong way and even spilling out. In my opinion these are no were near as good as the original. I have a few of the original ones minus the handles I tend to snap the handles. I have ordered a bunch of new handles from Kranks for the old type and will probably revert to using one of them. It was worth a try but I am not really impressed.

I put an elastic band around my primer trays regardless of make of primer tool unless I am seating individually. There is nothing worse than primers all over the floor.

Good idea I will give that a try.

Can't say I've had any problems with mine. It is easier to seat primers sideways with the XS but if you watch the process take place, you get a feel for the right way to work the lever.

I had another go with a elastic band around the lid and primer tray primed 100 .303 cases it is better with the elastic band on. I still managed to get one primer on its side lifting the lid though. I spotted it before any thing went pear shaped. Still like the original better but I will perceiver with this one it may grow on me.

I noticed that when the tray was filled with primers as you pushed the lid in place the snap would cause a couple to jump over so I do it on a soft surface such as the seat of a chair or in my hands and the problem is resolved, no more upside down primers.
