I had a lot of luck with mine with the 175g smk at about 2200 fps , just under an inch with a better shot than me behind it !
I sourced some stripper clips for mine and my word was it fast to run !

Glad to hear you found the mould, I hate losing things.
I was using the earlier model, will have to try patching them.
GP90 for reference.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. But looking to put one of these on my ticket, and just getting into the ideas of loading for it.
Is there a source where I can buy cast bullets suitable? I don't want to get into casting for it really, or paper patching.
Tackb, with the SMKs you were using, was that loaded to GP90 spec?

There is just the usual suspects, Shellhouse, GM. Don't know if Allwood is still doing bullets, might be worth checking. However the reality is that you need to be very lucky to get a bought cast bullet to work especially in rifles, they are all made to the same speccy which means that bullet fit is unlikely to be good and they are all universally far too hard, both recipes for instant leading and very poor accuracy. If you do get lucky with your rifle in finding a bought cast bullet that works then I would also put a lottery ticket on as your luck is obviously in and you will have more chance of winning the lottery than getting a suitable commercial cast bullet.
