Get out of your nice warm town and go 30 miles North West - currently still -3 and snowing (again)!

It's -5 here, we had about two feet of snow on the ground and it dumped another 15 inches last night. Perfect shooting weather and I off to the range after I've taken the dogs out.

I'm just in. I've been shooting out on the hill.
In this weather I shoot from inside a bivi bag with a light fleece liner inside. Keeps you out of the wind when lying down and toasties inside. I've even nodded off a few times. You'll pick up a surplus bivi on flea bay for a fiver.
As the training sgts were forever screaming at us 'any fool can be uncomfortable!'

That brings back memories. I remember one of my Platoon Sgt's in boys service saying.... 'Any fool can be cold or hungry'. Never forgot it. It comes to mind every time I'm a 'cold and hungry fool'
