I think anything more were to happen would be a total rethink in having armed cilvians in the uk the last firearms law review concluded against any bans or central storage however, the next step would be a total ban on the private ownership of firearms for any purpose and at the same time the police will be given more fire power the sheeple will be overjoyed at this without realising we would be then walking into a police state!

all of europe they are allowed handguns and semi auto fullbore rifles and they haven't turned into some wild west!

We have far more to fear from the others, who want more powers and laws and a bigger government. You think miliband would think twice about banning private firearm ownership? When has the left ever been about personal freedom/responsibility?

As Funky said - these are standard capacity magazines for the rifles they are designed for. High capacity is a term coined by the liberal left (like assault weapon) to instill fear and help them push through more laws.

There is STILL the UN Gun Ban - the UK has signed up to it, do not think for a minute they will not use
that at some point. Your vote as a shooter means nothing so why worry about you.

I am sure a convenient mass shooting or some other type of attack will come along at some point and the plans (which almost certainly exist already) will be dusted down and used to punish the innocent i.e us.

Your government fears you and does not trust you. Mainland Europe has always been more relaxed about guns and hunting.

i dont think we are home free, but if there were going to do something they would have done it by now, cumbria and the other idoit who shot his family would have been easy to ban something...we are ok for the moment unless something else were to happen....and if that something else (god forbid) were to happen especialy under a labour administration, i think their will be an outright ban of all firearms for cillvians! (central storage has twice been ruled out by the now defuct FCC and cambria masscare inquire for obvious reasons) so that leaves what ? they wont care about farmers or pest control as they will just set a police pest control squad or the like !

i cant belive there was a really stpuid women on the TV sometime ago was calling for (really im not making this up) that anyone who has gun shouldnt have the right to a trial but the police should drive him striaght to jail ! comrade starling would be proud !

Apart from that we escapade they are less anal than the brits about alot of things, not just guns.

Kinda ironic sim, his statement is as apt (maybe not the right word) now as it was then..and we all know what happened after that. He was right on with the last two, his police were more efficient at rounding up and killing people and governments today are still using is methods to fool the sheeple and take their rights and freedoms.

Funny peculiar that last year the German government lifted a ban on military opening fire on civvies, something that existed since the end of WW2.....now why would that be???

I'm not sure they would. They are trying to "break back into" the civilian side after years of neglecting in favour of military contracts. They still rely on military contracts so may see "move" as not to their advantage.

And as an aside, the whole gun industry is well aware of the debacle that Remington made with a successful brand....
