this is where the CSR shooters went after spitting their collective dummies out on AR15.com if you want details of matches then this is the best place to look, or the NRA website usually list the matches as well.

New forum is something like CSR Shooter or similar. I believe you need to "approved" before joining.

To set the record straight...
The AR15.com UKHTF (UK home town forum) had started to attract people that didn't shoot AR matches, put themselves up as experts about all things AR and generally hijacked the place. It also started to attract a large number of airsoft-u-like shooters who insisted on covering .22 rimfires in every conceivable piece of airsoft tat going. The UKHTF had long been used as an unofficial CSR hangout and longer-term members of the UKHTF (and paid up members of AR15) objected and told a couple of the new members what they thought. These people then cried to the owners of AR15.com - who run it as a business. The owners said, every has to be nice to one another - our house, our rules.
This led to a longstanding member of the UKHTF and CSR league to decide to set up a separate forum (the aforementioned site) that would be a forum for the shooters of CSR to get together and continue their discussions as they previously had on the UKHTF without having to play by anyone else's rules or listen to how an IR strobe/flare launcher was a
must have accessory for plinking with a .22
Several of the members still keep an eye on the UKHTF and offer advice to anyone who finds their way there; to promote CSR and AR15 shooting - as well as to respond to topics started by the US members. Most of the members still post in other sections of AR15 too; it's just the UKHTF is generally now avoided. Since the majority of the CSR members have left, everyone else has too and the place has pretty much died.
IMHO I wouldn't exactly call the CSR a minority either - most matches regularly attract over 50 people - which considering they are shot in winter on the worst part of Bisley ranges is no mean feat. Several matches of this season have been full and the enquiries from new shooters continues to increase.
HTH

On the face of it, that does sound like a bit of an over-reaction - you can't share a forum with people that have different tastes or less experience?

It was constant and there were a couple of new posters that had to respond with a stupid remark in nearly every thread. It changed the whole dynamic of the forum. Most of the posters knew and shot with each other regularly, so to have someone blunder in the middle of it was a bit like listening to a big time Charlie rattle on when you are trying to have a quiet pint with your friends in a local pub.
Once everyone left, the UKHTF was free for the aforementioned to discuss whatever seal team 6 patch they wanted to Velcro to their range bag - however with the core members gone (who made it what it was) the others drifted away too.
For the record, the CSR shooter forum isn't some sort of dictator led secret society, once registered, there are probably less rules than there are here.
