I believe they do it at Headley Park if that helps any others down south... clicky. Nice little club too, I was a member there for a year until time pressures got the better of me.

It had 'gently' crossed my mind to say something about dressing up and acting not being my bag.

I spent nine years at the NRA insisting on blazer and tie over polo shirt, I wear a big hat, I 'dress up' in half a bra, sweatshirt and 'shooting trousers for my 'F' class.

I act as if I can shoot - so I guess I shall keep my mouth shut on that one.

Actually, I did think about it once but I have too many disciplines already.

I wish these guys the best of luck.

Thanks Doz, much appreciated! Not too far away from me in deepest darkest Kent.

John, it's funny you mention that as I was thinking the very same thing! The same with any sport really, golf, fishing, PSG.. all have their own 'uniform' if you like. Seems that some clubs take the clothing aspect more seriously than others. It doesn't really bother me, as I've always had a random hankering for a pair of cowboy boots and a cowboy hat since I was a young lad! (No village people comments please! Haha!)

I have cowboy boots, very comfortable; I have two Stetsons, one with a 4 1/2" rim which keeps the rain off.

I also have a .45 Ruger and a Winchester u/l in .45 LC.

I'm half way there!!

:shakeshout:

Oh, I also have a sherrif's badge.

I have spent a little time looking through the web site and watched some of the video, its quite cool stuff!

I think we should go back to the days of the Old West, there is quite a few people I'd like up the high street at noon :goodjob:

A little reticent to go OTT with the garb but I'm sure I could dig out a check shirt and I do have the hat, an aussie one but nearly the same! Its good to see they are trying to maintain some authenticity too, especially with the tools!

Leek is not too far from me so maybe go see what they are about if the opportunity arises.

Do I have to start listening to Country Music as well????
