HATE BOB - love my DTA SRS and the service I got from the UK Importer, Ewan Campbell. Two dealers, at opposite ends of the customer service spectrum.

My first Lever release from SGC was seized by the police as Section 5. Never got so much as a "Sorry for any inconvenience" statement from Bob. Quite the opposite in fact. The replacement was sent, only partially assembled, to a local RFD to whom I had to pay a transfer fee. Bob could not understand why he should have to, as "I was lucky to be getting a replacement". I've left out the rest of the Southern Gun nightmare around this episode.

Contrast the above with Ewan who imported a DTA SRS for me, in his first batch, without requiring a deposit. He did not know me, he just took my word I would purchase the rifle on its arrival in the UK. After collecting the SRS I decided I wanted the dedicated scope mount which he sent to me, without requiring any payment up front.

I would not touch SGC with a barge pole. Mind you, I suspect Bob would say the same of me. As for my current 9mm it is fun, but, I don't use it as much as I originally envisaged.

yep got one it works what do you want to know.

They need to have few hundred rnds through to run in
The glock mag springs are stiff load em with empty cases and leave for a week, just unload and load them each day.
Glock mags may need burs etc cleaning off round inside mag lips.
Scotch brite bolt assembley, buffer, & gently inside upper to clean it up.
clean out all factory lube from buffer tube and working parts and use CLP break free.

PM me if you want any other info

I owned one for 2yrs (until the tax man forced me to sell it)

I dont have a bad word for either the gun or the service I recieved from SGC.

My experience with the gun, which was one of the early ones with the UZI mag, was only positive.

If I could find one at the right price I would most likely buy it.

Sorry to go against the flow here, but thats how it was for me.

I was do finking along 9mm carbine lines, not full-blown 308 bull-pup!

Anyhoo - for that dosh I'd have personally opted for a Barret bull-pup instead
...for affordable 9mm I'd hunt out a Armalon bolt-action job - not quite as quick as the SGC, but quite fast if ya know what ya doing....

Or how about a Destroyer Carbine? One for sale here http://www.gunstar.co.uk/Rifle/Bergmann ... 97556.aspx

Not mine, I hasten to add!

Bear in mind, ooman, that the Destroyer doesn't fire 9mm Parabellum ...

It's still a nice gun though.
