Well kinda standing ... Standing up but with elbows supported by the "shelf" at the shooting point if that makes sense ..

I started my shooting doing prone small-bore, the full jacket, sling and diopter sights shooting at 25yards. It took me 18 months to get my first "poss" which sits in a frame on my living room wall :shakeshout:

I had numerous 99's and 98's in the preceding time but always managed to screw up a shot normally near the end of the card ****

The night got mine I didn't scope the last 3 shots and hey presto job done clapclap

I got into instructing and coaching after a while, which I really enjoyed. I also did a shooters mind training course down at the NSRA and
one of the best things I learned was that a match card is not one match of ten shots but ten matches of one shot!!! every shot should have as much concentration and effort put into it as you can achieve.

Used a different rifle tonight ... Still a Brno mod2 but with a longer barrel and much better scope ... What a difference !
Scored a 96 .. 8bulls and 2 8's ... And I felt myself pull them off target ...getting there !!

Then you're getting very near your first 'possible' :good: - I've not managed one in most of the disciplines I shoot.....so will have to just keep practicing
