Re ammo safe's; Like gun safe's get as big as you can 'cos you'll eventually fill it and need a bigger one.

Although i buy MEN 7.62 i've never bought more than 100 at a time so i've never seen those before

Well I got the new safe fixed into the bottom of my 'shooting cupboard'....

I'm well happy with it :good: - There's enough room to actually store reloads in the boxes I take to the range, and be able to get it out without having to empty everything....

....Hmmmm; there's enough room now in the gun cabinets for more rifles ;)

Had great fun getting all my kit sorted into the new house!

Basically there's only one outside wall I could use so had to get a rather large Ikea wardrobe, raise it off the floor so it's flush to the wall and bolt through it into the external brickwork. A couple of friends fitted it for me and then trimmed the bottom so it looks built in to the skirting board etc.

Just a thought, I see you keep powder in the cabinet, I prefer to keep it under lock and key in a wooden box, does anyone else have a view on this?
