Downloaded jacketed ammunition is more finicky to get shooting safely and well, it has a higher start pressure so the window between being able to clear the barrel with accuracy and the range ftps/ftlbs is narrower.
Cast boolits are more accurate as they are easier to get to fit the rifle, there are a far greater range of types and weights as well as being less expensive to buy.
