It is fine for people to say that they have done XYZ however what you said was not ok because it is deemed to be self promoting.

You could have just posted something along the lines of "I am still here" This is my email (insert email) if anyone wants to contact me.

Welcome to the forum, quite an entrance.
I am not the best word smith but it is a nice forum and the people who run it do a good job.
I hope to shoot a bit of CSR in 2013 as I enjoyed the snap shoot in Aug that you helped run.

On a side note I see you used to shoot mini rifle with harlow pratical. I used to shoot PP at the chelmsford range (now closed) with MRPC. I did all the plaster board on the range for sound proofing due to noise complaints. Also added extra timber to back stop and other bits so it was safer to go forward and shoot shorter ranges. we also had to stop the bullet splash from damaging the roof so we put steel plate across the top of the back stop, last job was new rubber curtains good they were heavy

This is a particular well run - free and balanced forum - all that is asked that you follow the rules and guidelines. Compared to several others this one is in my opinion the fairest and most enjoyable.

They're all CZ 527 0.223 shooters anyhow...at least the ones who don't own Howas.

Anyone who wants to buy a rifle from me is free to do so, no matter what I say on the internet or not.
If they take issue with my well based opinions..that's their prerogative.

Send him an email telling him why he's been banned though , I was banned from uk long range and to this day still don't know what I did? (I don't miss it though as this and Ukv are far superior!)
