A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

That is assuming the camo pattern on the stock is smooth, if it is raised it adds a bit more work. Dave Wylde can Cerakote or Duracote or you could do your own Hydrographic transfer work if you fancy a bash at something unusual. You can get many unusual finishes.

We had a thread on here about that...I wonder what happened with the project...

Is there a supplier in the UK selling HG kits now ? I know they have been available in the USA but it seemed to licensed over here and only certain dealers could get hold of the equipment and materials required ,ovenpaa wrote:That is assuming the camo pattern on the stock is smooth, if it is raised it adds a bit more work. Re: Repainting a McMillan Stock
I'm not sure if I feel comfortable with my skills in doing stuff myself, I'd sooner get someone to do it who has the required kit and talent.
Until I find out what's occuring with work it's all a bit a of a fact finding project, but it could be kind of fun.

A well known auction site lists quite a few kits and my understanding is all you need is a suitable tank with water in, possibly a small frame and some masking tape and activator.Dave 101 wrote: Is there a supplier in the UK selling HG kits now ?
