Back on track ladies... troutslapping

NOT decided yet on the tracer bullets with regard to prices IF I sell a few

IF anyone has an interest in a few let me know...chances are I'd do them in batches of 5 (a stripper clip full) but would not be selling a massive qty as I need to source more when I am next over there

Same applies to the 6.5 mil brass - have to chat to a few possible sources to try to get a supply arranged.

@Trex - a post in the introductions section & a little more info in your profile woud be nice

Will check to see when the next Blair day is, hope to have a few rolled for then

No worries, I'm not falling out with meles meles, just ragging him back a little. My own fault, I shouldn't read and post while half cut.

Always hated introductions sections, bit like starting a new school, or later in life, training courses or business meetings, for me a foot shuffling hateful experience when done formally. You do know me and the Sect5. ;)

Next two shoots at Blair are next Saturday, Civil Service, Pistol and Gallery Rifle, then on the Sunday, Fife Centrefire, the 500yd Sniper comp IIRC. I understand the distance is possibly going to be reduced to 200yds to bring up the numbers and also move us into the covered firing point in case of bad weather.

No tracer allowed at Blair Adam :bad: some concerns with the woods being set on fire. Bummer but thats life.

On the Swedish tracer, heads alone for me is fine/preferred and I'll take whatever you decide you can spare the interested parties. If necessary I'll pay for postage as would like to shoot some at the end of the month. A handful for comparison to my present supply and to check the ignition rate would be fine, do you know the year of manufacture?

Mentioned to the Sect5 about you finding some, he has your number so may phone to see what is possible as regards collecting needs.

Let me know what's possible on the heads front :good:

Tracer is not S5 though or am I missing something here as I have only skimmed the thread. I still have quite a few hundred here...

Bullets, Heads, Projectiles, "that little bit that passes through the barrel", it's all one to me.

No tracer isn't Sect5, same rules as FMJ apply. If it's a made up cartridge in a specific calibre though then you must have that on your FAC (which I do) but a Sect5 can have what he wants basically (in the simplest terms) for his collecting needs.

As I understand it anyway.
