This seems a ridiculous way that such policy decisions get invoked

More directly then, would any BASC member here like to ask the organisation for their position on this?

AND
as a non-BASC member

Just phoned the BASC Scottish Office

They have confirmed on the phone AND by e-mailed minutes of the meeting regarding bullets being entered onto FAC's, that NO SUCH AGREEEMENT has been made whereby non-expanding bullets are required to be listed on an FAC at the time of purchase

FFS, why oh why do Police think they understand the law?! Some do, but so many don't. And it's not their fault, they're simply not trained!

No, you don't have to have primers entered on your ticket, and anyone who says otherwise is talking rubbish.

No, you don't have to have non-expanding bullets entered, Because you don't even need an FAC to buy the damn things!
