I know it's Monday now but I've only just seen this so....

I was duty manager this weekend so I had saved up a few of those jobs that are easier when the phones not ringing & no-one in & out of the office.

Ha!! What I hadn't twigged was that it was the first weekend of the NSRA meeting sign01

Don't people moan? I know our ablution blocks aren't the best (by a long way) but people seem to think that a bit of dust constitutes 'filthy'.

What amazed me was the state in which shooters leave the place. Loo rolls on the floor, down the loo, in the sink.... I found rubbish on the floor just inches from the empty bins and a used razor left on the floor of a ladies shower. Just what you want little Susie to find. Don't these people have brains?? :cool2: :cool2:

On the up side, it did get me out of the office & into the sunshine however I have made a note not to volunteer for that weekend again next year

Went down the farm where I do a job on the Muntjac for Natural England/Forest enterprise. There is a piece of ancient woodland the undergrowth of which is being destroyed by the little b******. Necked an old buck, which on doing the gralloch showed various signs of disease. Firstly, a tumour of the right mandible, which wasn't stopping him eating, as the field weight, (Body minus guts), was about 12kg. Secondly, he had a dilated large bowel with scouring. Thirdly, there was a patch of fibrotic adhesion which stuck the right lung to the chest wall. Funnily enough, there were no abnormal lymph nodes to see, neither in the bowel, chest or neck. This was the first Muntjac in fifteen years that I felt was not fit fir the human food chain.

More bipods parts, an guide for a 300WM R93, added a knurl to a plain handled Rem700 guide and built an AI to Versapod spigot for someone somewhere.. This is an interesting week, I am building for customers in Serbia, France X2, Tasmania, Eire, Australia and a few in the UK of course.

I wish I had stuck a map up on the wall when I first started doing this and then put an X on each new country when we shipped to it, sadly I have lost track now.
