Ovenpaa,
Managed to chrony that n540 load with molly vlds today and average vl was 2,892fps also tweaked oal to 73.85mm which is close to 0.40 off lands with the berger vlds, accuracy was exellent 0.216in group from centre to centre at 125y, there was no visible over pressure signs with my barrel.

Nearly 2900 makes that a good 1200 yard round, very impressive. How many grains of N540 was that?

You need to get that rifle out to 1000/1100/1200 now for some competition strings and see how it goes.

Have practice shoot with FTR squad at 800y this saturday followed by comp sunday 15th, Very happy with Load tune results now the rest is down to my wind reading abilities or lack of them, Will be shooting at 1000y in few weeks however will be at disadvantage with LRS2 short 24in barrel over the 30in tubes with velocity but hope to hone in with wind reading skills to try and keep scores as high as possible, got word back from Boarder barrels that they woint produce me a 30in barrel for Blaser which is very dissapointing so on the look out for another barrel manufacturer who will hopefully make one. :good:

There is a company that makes after market barrels for Blaser, Sako and Schultz & Larsen, for some reason I think they are Norwegian but I could be wrong, they are very distinctive in that they have a red finish. Down side is I cannot think of the company name.
