I use Vecan AS from Peter Lawman, similar price to GM3. Several friends use both also and we are shooting 298 and above all day long. Same goes for unique.
As Dromia said, it's all about what works for you.

This would be a starting point if I were to use it by comparing shotshell loads with their equivalents in Alliant (or other) powders.

From memory from about two years ago it was about £17 for a good amount,not all was the easiest guy to get a hold of.One of the guys from my club has just ordered powder from him and he didn't have any AS left.

He has GM3, my friend's just rang to say he's picked up my order for me and is on the way home so I'll try and get out of the house tomorrow and go pick it up then try some .44s, starting load will be 200g plated bullet over 5.4gr, same powder weight as I use with TiteGroup but at less than half the cost!.
There's room for all Gods creatures, next to the mash and gravy :)
