Trouble is, I don't have £poa in the bank!

The one I fired, about ten years ago, was £7,500 but it was 'only' the sport version with a one and a half twist, not the military version.

When I asked if I could buy it, my wife didn't exactly say no, the look she gave me was enough.

If you hear of a new underground range opening up in the next few months you will know who won

Underground range be bu :squirrel: red!

Euromillions win tonight, private jet, buy land in Arizona.

1200x range, no muzzle energy restrictions, electronic targets, pub, and the best reloading and fettling shed you could ever dream up.

Not to mention dolly birds to look after all my male mates (I suspect I would gain a few) and some hunks to look after my female friends.

As i said earlier, fella can dream.

Only 1200x?! Why not 2500x, take an SMLE with volley sights (and a platoons worth of volunteers) and see how effective they really were!

The only problem with that would be (when I win) feeling a bit bad that'd I'd jacked in the chance to build an awesome range in the UK!

Sorry for going off-topic..

As for the next ex-military rifle... Perhaps the venerable L98A1, depending on what became of them. Although I imagine the sensible thing wasn't done (ie, selling them to the public) and they were probably all scrapped! Or were they upgraded to the A2 version?

Well beware the L96A1, I heard the other day that someone is knocking out Actions for them in the USA.

I wondered how long it would be, the next money spining fake.
We know very few have ever been released so im sure there is a list somewhere, there is one in our club and very nice it is too.

I meant the L98A1. The old Cadet GP rifle. A straight pull version of the L85A2.

Are you talking about the L96? They are nice rifles but I meant the L98!
