Hi
I recently got an old NDFS neck sizing die for my Martini Henry. I used the same method as I use for my Lee dies. Screw in until touching shellholder, then one more full turn. It seems to work OK, but the case isn't going all the way into the die. Just wondering if the 'set-up' for the NDFS dies is different from the Lee one.
Anyone with experience of these dies?

Is the neck being resized?
If so what is the problem?
Just screw in the die enough to resize the neck and the job is done, no need to screw it in any further. It shouldn't touch any other part of the case other than the neck as that is all you want it to resize. If it doesn't touch the shell holder to do that then it doesn't matter.
If its a Jim Goodwin die then it should be OK, all the NDFS dies I have had post Jim have been returned. Mind you I haven't tried any of the latest incarnation of NDFS dies - HNDFS from Dragon Arms so they could well be OK.
I treasure all my Jim Goodwin reloading dies, swaging dies, moulds and cases.
Regardless, send it to me and I will pay the postage.

TY for the replies and the kind offers to take them off my hands, but will hold onto them for a wee bit longer 
As I said, it does the job ok, but with my other dies, the 'stop' is the die on the shellholder. I was concerned that I was in danger of putting on too much pressure and buggering up my expensive (over £4 a go) cases.

You won't bugger up the cases if you gently set the dies a bit at a time and then stop and lock ring when the neck is sized and the ram is at the top of its stroke.
A touch of case lube on the outside of the neck every now and then will help if you are concerned about the shoulder collapsing.
Usually its not needed when neck resizing.
