I couldn't find any pictures of Brits with Glocks. On the other hand, it's easy to find pictures of US troops packing them:

A Glock is simpler and safer to run than a Sig, especially with gloves on IMO.
IE:They breach he has one pistol drawn uses the ammo but cant reload so reholsters and draws chest pistol just an idea .
I reckon tha snce a Glock or Sig can have up to 17 rounds depending on caliber I'd reckon if the problem isn't solved by then the operative has a problem.

Also it would be just as quick to reload as to holster one and draw another, don't see them chucking away weapons like they do in the movies. Just an opinion...

I agree I'd take a full-size Glock over a full-size steel SIG any day. It seems a no-brainer for LE/military. Two extra rounds in the mag, ten ounces lighter, softer recoil from the flex in the frame, no hammer or need to de-cock, consistent trigger pull every time, and half the price.

Just noticed this from the picture above:

Notice it is cocked. His finger is not on the trigger so he's not dry firing. The P226 has no external safety and is not safe to carry locked and cocked :G I guess since it's not in a holster maybe he has pulled it out, unloaded it, cocked it, and is about to dry fire it on single action for some reason, but I do suspect he has been carrying it like that.

Judging by the roll of 4x2, I'd guess he's been cleaning it. smile2

Is that the Castlelaw outside Edinburgh??

I shoot there a few times a year, but have not spotted a blue plaque or evidence of any shrine to Chuck on the range!
