saw, spring action weekend

The saw had great weather great company, and great freindlyness........it was poorly attended,by both ro's and competitors,the costs have been hiked and nobody wants to pay it.......there was a lot of nra bashing going on that weekend, and people are left wondering why we had to pay 12 pounds when its 5 pounds at the imperial..........when you consider that gr clubs put on classified events. And still make money for half the cost of what they charge at bisley.........the gr community have already shown their distain by not turning up............I hope things get back to the way they were quickly,before bisley loose the support of more gr shooter which will end up damaging the sport...........................

I think that part of the problem is that like my own club the distance to travel to this event and the costs involved mean that club members restrict themselves to just the phoenix normally. We do occasionally attend the other events but they don't have the trade show that the phoenix has where it is possible to stock up for the rest of the year.
