It would seem if the US customs had there way no items would leave the US.

On the 26th of February I placed an order none firearm related parts "Schmidt Rubin cleaning kit and a Mauser original cleaning rod" with Liberty Tree Collectors. Order was prosessed and dispatched to USPS on the 29th, went through there clearing area, package then was passed onto US customs, where it spent along time.
Yesterday I sent a e-mail to see if they could trace my parcel, got a reply back today, they were able to find my parcal was in US customs from the 29th Feb until the 21st of March were it was placed on a plane at Miami FL airport...bet something will be missing when it arrives..
Even the company are at a loss why it spent so much time with them...

Is there any liquid in the cleaning kit?, last 2 trips I've had some liquid cleaners removed but not others. Birchwood Casey case cleaner as it's a Hazmat problem if it gets onto aluminium and this trip a pint of Hoppes #9 bore cleaner and 4 x 4oz bottles of RCBS case slick spray, both of which have been brought back before. They didn't touch the pint of CLP liquid spray or the 4 bottles of Montana X-Treme bore cleaner, conditioner and Tetra Gun cleaner.

If it's this one,

It says "The tins are 3 inches tall and mostly full of the amber lubricant" so it may be that.

Just an FYI, if you've bought lights/batteries/chargers from deal extreme be careful with 'em. I've seen more than a few reports of chargers setting alight or getting very hot/smelly in people's houses!

Hi, A interesting thought, when George dubya Bush was in office he stated that the greatest threat to USA was the UK.
