What 'scope rings?

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

The 30mm rings on my Nightforce 42X are crap, terrible things so I need to replace them, this is my F Class rifle so I do not need anything tacticool looking, just good rings and ideally rings that do not break the bank.

Can anyone recommend such things?

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

More than happy with Warne.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

:o :o :o And i thought the rings i use were expensive. Excellent quality but expensive at £125 a pair.

Incidentally, the most solid & robust rings i've ever seen are original IOR Valdatas. A mate got it into his head to lapp his set. You wouldn't believe how hard wearing the coating is and how long it took. Totally unnecessary to as they are excellent quality.
