Hi ovenpaa.

Yep original J.H. Becker made saw back "butcher" bayonet. Only bought it last Sunday at Chatham Military fair, and it was cheap... I don't think the seller knew what he had... I will post more pictures of the rifle, sorry sue will when she has time.

Some of the Persian Mausers can be found in superb condition however I would like a german one. I did find this a couple of years ago without a crest or markings on the receiver, it was sub GBP300 from memory..

It will probably be a G98 Mauser however a Model 71 would be good if I could find one, a fitting companion to the M/89 Krag.
