Yes. I have not had any problems with it for 223 and 308 subsonics and for standard 357 Mag and 9mm Largo ammo.hakeswill wrote:

Re: Anyone using IMI Trail Boss?
Well lets just say it was about 20 inches + 25 yards to the target.hakeswill wrote:
Ok im interested what happened with the jacketed bullet?
The bullet went hmmmm about 18 inches and then stopped.
It came out later once I gave it a quick wack with a mallet. No harm done to barrel.
It does say on the Trail Boss tub - lead bullets only. But being inquisitive I had to give it a try with jacketed.
Perhaps I shouldn't have made 150 experiments - damn you Dillon 650
Thats what kinetic bullet pullers are for I guess.

Used it in both my .44s but get just as good results with TiteGroup using a lot less powder. I also use it for sub-sonic .308 and it's perfect for those

Hmmm, intriguing. What sort of load do you use for subsonic 308s? What bullets ?

Re: Anyone using IMI Trail Boss?
Was using 168gr jacketed Nosler CC and tried 205gr lead cast spire point boolits (from Dodgyrog) with 8 or 9g of Trailboss.
I also got excellent results using a 162g cast "Loverin" style boolit, ES of 18 and SD of 6.7 with 10g but MV of 1200, dropping to 9g gave an ES of 13 and SD of 4.3, MV was 1141.
I now use 4.9g of Viht N310 with the ubiquitous 115g "soupcan" cast boolit or 115g round nose cast boolit (both from Dodgyrog), MV is 978fps from the 20" Howa and 1126fps from the 25" Steyr. I don't have the ES/SD to hand as I think I forgot to write them down but it's an accurate load.
I also have subsonic for the 300Blackout, 3.4g of N310 gives 1030fps with the 115g soupcan or round nose boolits.
Cast are all sized at .310"

The Hodgdon listed subsonic load for 308 Win (8gn titegroup with 168gn bullet) works really well.meles meles wrote:phaedra1106 wrote: I also use it for sub-sonic .308 and it's perfect for those
