Re: New toy on the market.
Heh, there is no doubting that, it is a lovely little slip of a thing

Right then, resident lever gun addict here.....
IMO, this is Uberti's direct competition to the Henry .22. I doubt it will offer anything over the Henry, which has an outstanding reputation in the US for accuracy and reliability.
Uberti's are very well made, but then so is the Henry. However, my prediction is even though theyretail for $589 Stateside, we'll see them around £700! At that sort of money a Marlin 39 can be had......
The Uberti's is aimed at the budget/youth/plinking market. It's going to be too expensive here, especially with Henry and some Winchester 9422's still hanging around.

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Have to agree with that. The two groups to the right were achieved by my 8 year old son at 25m! :goodjob:Sim G wrote:Right then, resident lever gun addict here.....
