IBU Biathlon rifle

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

IBU Biathalon is on at the moment, two things impress me, just how fit the women are (Bloke thing) and the straight pull rifles they use.

Does anyone know what they are? (The rifles!)

As you say, no surprises. I have a feeling the Russians make one as well.

Found it Baikal/Izhmash, they refer to it as a toggle action, this is one 'scoped.

The toggle actions are very slick, yes a link would be handy please, I am sure they must be over here and they are certainly available in DK, I will have a look in Korsholm next time we are over.
