In the excitement and expectation of aquiring a new firearm you forget how good the old one is, how you spent hours developing the perfect load and how you modified it to suit just you. You sure as hell remember though once its gone!

I regret no longer having my III* SMLE and and I know the Viking misses a few as well, she seems to have got rid of more than I have however that is understandable as it is usually me that suggests she have them in the first place :lol:

Only miss two....My first Firearm....A BSA Century, bought in 1968 for £12.00

Thanks for the offer Dave, I've just bought a Mint Franchi 48AL 12G and I'm now skint....I'll keep the offer in mind next year if you still have it.

Can somebody tell me a bit more about the BSA Century, I don't think I have come across one before....7.62mm?

22 RF Mick.

Made as an affordable club rifle, 22 BSA sporting bolt action with a heavy target barrel and stock. Target aperture rear and tunnel fore sight. Very accurate and underrated rifle as most BSAs are.

One of mine is on a sporting stock with a BSA 4x scope and its a 100 yrd bunny basher. :good: :grin:
