There is very little data on the 22-6.5x47 however I can give you all of what we have including case preperation.

From http://www.accurateshooter.com/cartridge-guides/22-250/ there is a short article titled
22-6.5×47 vs. .22-250 Standard and .22-250 Improved

In it it states - The 22X47 Lapua case capacity is slightly more than a standard .22-250 Rem and less than the .22-250 AI (fire-formed).

A 22-250AI could be a viable alternative to the 22-6.5x47 but your best source of real time info on the 22-6.5x47 would Christel and Ovenpaa.

The 22C was built by Stuart Anselm (Sanselm of this forum) Design criteria were, it had to be MoD range legal for a 5,56/9mm range so no more than .224" bullet, capable of 1200 yard shots and look like a standard rifle, plus be very accurate. Stuart had built the 22 SMACK with good results using 6mm Swiss Match brass so we decided on something similar but with 6.5x47 Lapua brass as it uses a small primer. It is built in a pillar and glass bedded laminated Savage BVSS stock with a Savage Match action and TrueFlite 1:8 barrel 29" long.

Reloading is simply a matter of neck sizing the x47 Lapua case down twice to get to size, we use Forester dies, nothing special and the brass is not neck turned. Case growth is virtually nothing and the cases are on 4+ loads right now. Brass is religiously cycled one at a time so we load 175 cases, shoot them and then reload them in one go so they are always on same or +1 shot. That is her choice. Cleaning wise they are hand cleaned only and then tumbled and annealed at 5 shots, again her choice.

Bullet is the 80 grain SMK moly coated, the reason for this is to drop the pressure and MV slightly to keep inside the 1000m/sec barrier plus allow us to the fill the case. powder is 42ish grains of Hodgden H4831SC with a modest jump. First day out was at a very windy Diggle at 100m to prove zero and a little bit of load development. We had built 20 odd rounds in blocks at Stuart's prior to shooting. Three shots to get it to a reasonable zero and first test produced a 0.194MOA group for me followed by a 0.197MOA group for Christel. These were measured by Vince (Gun Pimp of this forum) Stuart shot a third group in the two's. At this stage we stopped and decided that the first load was the one to go with.

Since then it has had a few cosmetic modifications, very minor items to suit Christel's style. September this year she shot a 5 shot group of 30mm at 656 yards (600m) and that was with just over 800 rounds down the barrel.

She runs an IOR -24X 'scope on it and a decent bipod, she also uses a small rear bag under duress, so certainly not any BR type set up. The rifle is quite heavy so recoil is low and I have watched her shoot at 1000 yards with just one hand holding the rifle. It returns scary first shot accuracy as well but this is probably more down to the way it is cleaned which I will PM you but not publish in the public domain any more

On the subject of cleaning the barrel is scrubbed at around every 125 shots and then 5 foulers shot and it is ready for the next time out. Her choice.

Accuracy wise a few on here know the rifle and I have watched her throw first shot V's at 600/1000 and 1200 yards on many occasions, in fact last time out at Stickledown 1000 she fell outside if the V ring only once.

I have a feeling Vince has or is going to build one as well. I am not aware of any others in the UK.

We both belive there is more accuracy to had yet and are working on something to help this right now.

Shout if you need more.
