Certificate of Safety & Competency & Data Protection

#1 Post by Mike357 »

Is there a prescribed format for recording the progress of an individual through the scheme before sign off by the Club Chairman? Does anybody have any templates for the recording of an individuals progress?

Also, can anybody advise if a club needs to register with the ICO (Data Protection) in order to legally hold members personal information?

Thanks for saving me time Rob :)

Clubs don't need to register to hold data so long as they don't loan/sell/give the data to anyone else. They must still abide by the rules even if not registered.
