7,3 reinstated. Guns back at their home

24" and less, a place to discuss all things handgun related, section 7.3. Long barrelled revolvers, long barrelled pistols and section 5. Overseas contributions are more than welcome.

Are you allowed to shoot these pistols? If so as a member of a gun club can you use them at your home range?

No you can not shoot them at a normal Gun Club. You can only store and shoot them at a registered 7.3 range. You can not have them at home they have to be kept in secure storage when not in use at a 7.3 facility.

You can hold them under section 7.1 to keep them at home but you may not fire it or possess ammunition for it.

my home range is a designated heritage site, so for me, the answer is yes. for you, the answer would be, it depends...
but yes, I can shoot them, and shoot them i do.

I can only keep some as 7.1 the 9mm's are a no no, as is the 32magnum. the 356limited, is a 9mm, but not 9mm para, so I think would be a no, but i'm not sure.
