Hey Everyone!

Long time unregistered reader, first time poster. I'm new to the shooting community - even though I was pretty much always interested in firearms I've only recently finished my probationary membership training with NRA - in fact less than a month ago.

I'm currently based in West London, and as my clubs go I'm only a member of NRA at the moment - but I'm planning to join a couple more soon (I have some ideas regarding which ones, but I'm still not fully decided, so if you have recommendations don't hold yourself back). I'm also planning to apply for my FAC soon.

As for disciplines I'm a bit interested in all shooting sport related stuff (not much interest in hunting though). At the beginning I'm likely to focus on long distance shooting with a scope (F-Class, Match Rifle etc), CSR (both historic and modern), Practical Minirifle/Shotgun, and a little bit of Gallery Gun (less because I like it that much, more because I want to shoot as often as possible without holding myself back because of the ammo cost, or necessity to drive 1hr+ to a shooting range). I know that's a very amitious plan, so we'll see how it goes - I might postpone getting into some disciplines a little bit.
