I just use black electrician's tape with a suitable sized hole punched in it, not pierced.

The beauty is that you can experiment with different aperture sizes and it is nigh on free.

Now you tell me the easier ways are always the cheapest and the best…….but one simple question is it on reading glasses or distance glasses? Don’t want stickers all over my glasses looking like a damaged tin of special offer reduced beans on the bargain shelf.

Tried a pair of varifocals could not use them at all so carry two pairs of glasses everywhere.
