No, The Falkland Islands Defence Force has been in existence in some shape or form since 1892 with a short, enforced hiatus in 1982...

memories of impromptu ranges, letting rip to 'get rid' of a few thousand rounds.... cabbing around the islands on army issue motorcycles...this was a couple of years later than when the south americans visited for a short time..... i liked the place
