Originally it had that awful brown painted on finish you see on cheap Chinese airguns.
But scrape that off, sand it, a bit of American walnut stain, some boiled linseed oil rubbed in, and it comes out lovely.
I'd been trying to get this mag for years just to finish it off. So, happy am I.

Yes I have seen these stocks in the USA, I also believe that there is a UK based company selling the same.
The Yanks would not post any thing vaguely resembling a firearm part, when I obtained the dummy M1 magazine I got my cousin who lives in the US to purchase and send to me
