Hi folks,
Thinking of getting a Garmin Foretrex 710 ballistic watch. Does anyone use one and have any feedback on them, good or bad. To complete the set I would also need a wind speed meter. Is Kestrel the only one worth a look.
Thanks for any info

Re: Ballistic watch
I haven't looked at them seriously as they are not allowed to be used in the competitions I shoot.
But I would be interested in the responses too. Are they a good buy for range use with the known distances or more for field use?

Re: Ballistic watch
I've no experience with that ballistic watch but i have the Strelok ballistic app on my phone. The app doesn't cost that much. As for wind speed I have a Skywatch made by JDC however the model I have is discontinued (I bought it on ebay) and on my phone I have the Ventusky app. Ventusky gives you current wind speed and direction at your location plus temperature and air pressure.
ETA there are several pre-owned Skywatches currently on ebay
