Two of the classics concerning target shooting in the uk with small bore and service rifles in the 1930's and 1940's. If you have any interest in vintage small bore target rifles, these are the books!
Written by A.G. Banks, Queen's cup winner, small bore English International, etc.
Both are hard back but missing their dust jackets and are inscribed with the name of the original owner. The Book of the rifle (226 pages) is the 1950 fourth edition, the random writings (198 pages) Is the first edition, 1948 printing.
Both books are a delight to read and are packed with useful information on all aspects of rifle shooting. Of particular interest is Random Writings as it was first published in 1943 and so concerns civilian rifle shooting during the war.
£25 for both, including postage. Payment by bank transfer.
